I've been in recovery for just over 3 years now. I'm a loving (but sometimes tired, lol) Mom of 2 teenagers (15 & 17) and am happily married to my husband (yes, I meant that and being happily married IS a thing). I'm a survivor of childhood trauma, rape, and domestic violence. I'm so grateful to be in a place of healing, comfortable in my own skin, and can say that I am now a victor, and no longer a victim. I have battled with anxiety, depression, and alcoholism, but fortunately today I have solutions and coping strategies that keep me healthy and moving forward.
My mission is to inspire and empower other women to achieve their goals and become their true selves. I am a follower of Christ and believe in loving and serving others wholeheartedly. Service work is something that has helped me immensely in my journey, as well as practicing gratitude. Although sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows are great, I'm more of a genuine, salt of the earth kinda gal. I believe our greatest strengths are born from our weakest moments, and at the end of the day, I am comforted to know 'this too shall pass'.
It's been an incredible honour and experience being on the Seek Purpose podcast. Thanks for having me!
